Ranking in Yahoo depends upon regions

Only recently I accepted a very decent website that is acceptable because it is indeed URL friendly website. The website was a pleasant surprise as it contained all the keywords that are mandatory for me and for my job. I'm very sure this will bring me the outcomes that I need and I'm assuming that this will happen very soon. But again, I've seen in a number of changes in results in the main SERP statistics for different areas of the SE Yahoo. It would be really self-supporting and valuable to me, if there are certain statistics unchanged, but it becomes very tough for me if there are a number of inequalities and non-conformities.

Yahoo doesn't seem to care much about the quality of links like Google does, where you can have a large number of links even from the same spot and have good results with Yahoo. Their serp or algo is inferior to Google.
