Default How to Advertise your Website Effectively!

Offline Advertising - Over the years before the internet came into existence, Traditional marketing was the only way to market products and services. Offline Advertising or Traditional Advertising do still work effectively for Your website. Of course the cost is comparatively higher than online marketing. Marketing over the internet can be done almost for free when we use organic SEO methods, article marketing, social media marketing etc. These methods of marketing are for those who cannot afford paid advertising on the internet. Paid advertising over the internet are very low as compared to offline marketing. If you choose to market your website using PPC, you can keep your cost as lower as you want.
Even though the costs are higher when you go for offline marketing, it is important to do. Traditional marketing is sometimes highly targeted. For example - If you want to sell equestrian equipment, you can sell it better by advertising your product in an Equestrian Magazine.

Most businesses whether online or offline have real world presence. Online business has a site of course, but many offline business also have websites because of which they don't face geo barriers and can market there website to the world. They also don't miss the benefits of traditional advertising like TV and radio, (which is high expensive) newspaper and magazines advertisements, posters, brochures etc. There are many businesses that stand alone in the World Wide Web and don't have any physical shop; such businesses don't go for traditional advertising because they don't actually need it. But there are some online businesses that know the importance of traditional advertising and they do it to make people familiar with their website such as eBay.

There are few things where you should mention your website URL.

1. Business cards - Of course every business owner and employees have business or visiting card with them. Every visiting card has a site name mentioned in it.

2. Letterheads and other documents - You should also include your website name in the Letterheads and other documents like invoices and receipts.

3. Your answering machine - This is rarely done, but you should take advantage of everything.

4. Staff Uniforms - If applicable, you can go for it like that of domino's and Pizza hut.

5. On Vehicle - You must have seen this type of marketing on hotels or tourist vehicle.

6. Shop window - You can also write your business URL to target local people around you.

I am not an expert in marketing field, so I might not have covered each and every point to market your website traditionally - if you feel that I missed out some important points than you can add a comment and let me know about it. This will also encourage me to write more things about marketing and help people to market their website effectively. Thanks for reading.

There are many methods with which you can promote or advertise your website, not only online, but offline as well. I would like to share that some of the best methods for advertising your website are: Vehicle wraps, Business cards design, Direct mailing and Window Decals.
