Default Web Designing Tips

Hello
1.Neat and Easy Navigation: Navigation of links on your site plays a big role in determining the stickiness of your site (how long your visitor stays and explores your site). Ask yourself this, What do visitors do as soon as they open your site? They would probably read the content of the present page and then look around to find any other page that interests them. Read our article on Web site Navigation Tips.
2.Clean Layout Design: A clean layout that uses a lot of white space enhances a site's looks. Try to keep the focus on your content, use dream weaver templates for this. Use fonts that will be available on all computers to prevent your site looking messed up.
3.Program using pure CSS: The world is moving away from table based websites to pure CSS websites because it offers accessibility, reusability and considerably reduces file size apart from giving greater control over the look of your website. The single most important skill you can learn today to become a quality web designer is CSS programming!

For conversion: you will also want to have a phone number in the top left of all pages on your site. It is also key to have some kind of contact form on the home page... we've found our clients get a better response and more leads with these two tips

If you plan to make money off your site, I think you should also develop it with SEO in mind. This means that you should use propero H1 and meta tags, as well as using descriptions in it.

although on-site optimization is important, off-site optimization is even more important! IF you are not creating links into your domain you are behind! I would be surprised if any website on the first page for a major search phrase only used onsite optimization to get where they were...

The most important part about designing a site is the topic/target audience. You need to know what and who you are working with. If your site doesn't offer anything new or interesting to the internet, chances are it will fail. Beyond that, the objective is to make things as intuitive as possible and as user friendly as can be. As far as links are concerned, the viewer should never be wondering what they need to click to get the information they are seeking.

One thing that some designers overlook is the compatibility between web browsers. Just because the website looks great in Internet Explorer doesn't mean it will look the same in Mozilla, Netscape, Opera, or another browser. This can easily be overcome by testing the site in numerous browsers.
