To calculate the back links of our site which method is used? how u r all calculate the back links

I usually use the yahoo site explorer or the iwebtool backlink checker to check how many backlinks do i have in my sites.

i usually use webmaster tools from google. The link:websiteName.com doesn't show all of the links that google has found.

Check the backlinks of your website in altavista.com. Google hide some backlinks. It will show all the backlinks of your website in detail.

Check the backlinks of your website in backlinkwatch.com. Google hide some backlinks. It will show all the backlinks and also helps me to find them..

I think the best page rank checker and back links checker... is the googlepagerankchecker.com, it calculates both on the same time...

I don't think that Google hide backlinks. They just show links which are appropriate according to their algorithm.

Thats what I believe.

I prefer clicking on Google Toolbar to check the backlinks. Also on site, i have incorporated yahoo widget to give me no. of links from other sites
