Google adSense strategy

Hello guys, I'll try to recap my strategy for earning $$ from google adsense program, please advise if you can see places for imrpovement, etc.

0. Hosting - since I'm a linux profesionnal, I'll arange that for myself. For the moment I don't feel like investing in a hosting company would be a wise decision.

1. Create a website with "Quality Content". Quality Content == Unique content, which noone else is using at the moment. I've the skills for PHP and MySQL handling, already done one site. I've to improve my CSS abilities a bit (I've run to some very nasty shits dealing with IE).

1a) Write my own
1b) Subscride for content. Do you know any quality/unique content providers?


2. Redesign the site in a way that it includes both adsense and adwords programs. Is there anything more I can do to make it more profitable?
Since I'm "green" in online marketing, all advice is apretiated.

3. User traffic. Where to get it from? I've understand that this will be one of the things that will be most difficult to achieve. For now - I think advertising it on topic-related forums, and having it distributed by the word of mouth.

4. Maintenance of the site. Any further upgrades, etc., in order to make it more profitable.

The several few months I've dug myself into "google adsense researching" and it turns out there are lots of people out there, who sell "goodies" and promise the world overnight. I don't believe in quickfixes, but in solid work & passive income.

I believe the most important part is having good quality content at your site. Usually this will attract visitors to come back for more and contents with good keywords will often rank well in search engine.

Hi, in order to earn from adsense and maximize your earning, you should ensure that your website is fully SEO friendly so that you can drive traffic to it. Do some offline and online marketing promotion for your site to get it famous.

If you are looking for contents maybe you can also subscribe to feeds and use it for your site. Just make sure that you give credits to the original site owner so as not to create issues on stealing intellectual rights.

You need to promote it. Automatically have your articles submitted to social news /bookmarking sites. Also have them re-written in other languages.
