Except the Duplicate problem, What are big issues in indexing the categorie only..?

Hello Webmaster's,

While searching on the Google it has been found that indexing categories create duplicate issues ( most pro blogger said it). But since, all my post are subjective to respective categories so there is no issue for duplicate in case of mine..!
About the page rank dilution, since its just an no index ( not an no follow).. definitively there wil b a flow of prank..
Kindly clarify the problems, since most of the new bloggers are facing this problem to understand... ( as far mine, im giving more authority to categories, not post )
