Does Google page rank works still ? It seem people become less and less keen about it. Do you still watch it or not anymore ?

Some people argue that PR is not that important. To me PR means having it as an indication on how well your site is doing. PR basically measures the amount of backlink pointing to your site and of course people still use it to determine the price to sell their site.

I always watch and i think it's fun because you can optimize your website and use PR to indicate whether your effort is successful.

All of us use PR to gauge how well our site is doing. It has nothing to do with traffic because that is under Alexa. Both PR and Alexa are important.

If Google says higher pagerank sites are more likely to be listed in the top of the search results, I believe it is important!

Google have always used PR as one of the major factors to determine a site's position in the search results and (I believe) have done this since around 2003 when everyone began scrabbling around trying to tweak their sites to best reflect a decent PR.

PR is everything when dealing with Google and it's no coincidence that if you search for anything mainstream the top results NEVER have a low PR - draw your own conclusions ppl but I feel they're obvious!
