Default Google Growing Larger

So, It appears that Google is going to keep buying up other companies. Doubleclick is now a Google service. I wonder what this means for Adsense? Anybody have any ideas? I think Google is now going to be in charge of online marketing now.

I think DoubleClick's website can describe it best.

"DoubleClick enables agencies, marketers and publishers to work together successfully and profit from their digital marketing investments. Its focus on innovation, reliability and insight enables clients to improve productivity and results.

Since 1996, DoubleClick has empowered the original thinkers and leaders in the digital advertising industry to deliver on the promise of the rich possibilities of our medium. Today, the company’s DART and Performics divisions power the online advertising marketplace. Tomorrow, we will continue to enable clients to profit from opportunities across all digital advertising channels as consumers worldwide embrace them."

Go to DoubleClick: Digital Advertising and you will get even more information.

Hmm... Toilet broadband connection? Not sure I follow on that. I think Google was originally out to be a search engine, but decided they would try to give Microsoft a little competition. Let them hook up with Apple and see what happens.

Hi regularjoe,

that was only a google trick. They were just trying to make everybody April fools. They were telling that , they would give a broadband connection absolutely free through toilet. It was only for 1 day.

I must have missed that memo. I didn't really pay much attention to google in the news until recently.

They are doing the right thing by buying doubleclick. It could expand their business empire and ensure that they will remain number one. Good investment for their future.

It's exciting to see how google grow from a small company up to what they are today. There are so many improvements taking place and the one which I like the most is the acquisition of feedburner.
