Google bomb is an attempt to bias search result on Google by imroving Web page's Page Rank algorithm reflects keywords where as determining PR, it also reflects on various other sites linked to that page and words used in the link description.

It has to do with SEO (search engine optimization). Written into the scripts of the page is often a phrase that is usually not visible on the page itself (eg: George Bush was Google Bombed by script writers who inserted 'miserable failure' into Bush's Wikipedia entry). Then, several individuals search 'miserable failure' or the desired entry multiple times in order to increase the Page Rank of that site.
