Default Link Building

I just finished a few articles, and my intention was only to get them publish in several good quality article directories and highly relevant Websites - as a way to increase my links. These articles would also add excellent new pages for my site, but I'm concerned that if I also add them to the site, they will not be deemed unique content by the search engines. After all, I would like these pages to be highly valued by the search engines. How do I go about this? Do I....

a. Post them first on my site and wait for each of them to be indexed by the search engines, then submit them to other sites?

b. Post them on my site and on other sites at the same time?

c. Only post them on the other sites?

d. None of the above?

If you are using backlinks in your article, I would go with D. simply because there are better options for you...

When I do this, I always publish on my site or blog first. Then you need to change the articles up a little bit, even if its a different title. Then go ahead and submit to article repositories and others blogs... this way you will get backlinks from different sources with different articles, not duplicate.

I say none of the above.
You should write unique articles for every site. Then only you get better results from search engines for all your articles.

Rosann is correct, if you use only original content you will be rewarded most in the SERPs.

I think it is better to submit your articles on your website first. Once you submit your articles on your website and you get good response for it, you can always try submitting some selected articles in some high traffic article submission websites to get backlinks and more traffic to your website.

First use the article in your own site as Google always like fresh and unique content. Try to highlight some keywords within them (not too much) and also try to use internal linking. Now write something different but having great relevancy with the article you've used in your site. Post it to different do follow article sites and link back your pages wherever possible.

Search engine likes unique contents. You should submit unique articles to each site. Copying article will be result in duplicate content issue.
