Domain Masking and Forwarding

Is it just me or should domain masking and forwarding be an automatic feature offered with any domain name or hosting package? I cannot seem to understand why it is so difficult to get that through every hosting company out there. Does anyone know why it is so difficult? Please let me know because I do not understand.

Why does it matter if people can look up your whois info? I don't trust sites that mask their whois...

If you dont belive that PR is valid. Then search at google by using info:URL

I don't think domain masking and forwarding should be an automatic feature. Just my 2 cents.
