Question Military-Myspace-YouTube Not a Love Triangle

The United States Military has added Myspace, YouTube and 9 other websites to their blocked sites list. Any computer belonging to the Department of Defense will be blocked from accessing these sites due to security issues and to protect bandwidth. At least this is the story that the government is releasing. I have a different idea on WHY these sites are being banned. I think that there have been so many people in the military and military dependents that have been involved in affairs and other improper situations, that the government is trying to make sure that they are not facilitating these problems. Will this help with the problem? I seriously doubt it, but the government is not always successful at solving problems anyway is it?

Here's the link to the official article.

Default Amazing

What is the benefit of doing this? I don't think that is because of the affairs. Also theer are lot other similar sites like videosense. Any way, its a different thing. Is this anyway related to terrorists?

The military may possibly be trying to push the envelope on the "Terrorist" defense, but I find it hard to believe. If the military is really so ignorant as to think that the information a few idiotic soldiers could put on the internet will assist a terrorist, they definitely need to take a closer look at the US Media. I guarantee you that CNN, FOXNews and many others have caused more problems than all of the accounts that MySpace has put together. There have been literally thousands of attacks, plans and missions ruined by leaks from the US Media. Who knows what the real reason is when the Government does anything?

There are lot of terror related messages are being passed through thru these type of sites. So, to just to avoid the American officers got distracted by these movies, they banned it. I think so
