wordpress or blogger?

What is a better FREE blog system? Wordpress or blogger? I like the look of wordpress blogs better but is Google more fond of blogger since they own it?

Any thoughts?

ya blogspot blogs are liked by google quite much. and the adsense ads seem to show related ads from the first day.

if you are wordpress blog in your own servers then there will be hell lot of work to get it notified to google.

Wordpress for sure is the best for blogging... and I don't think Blogger is more indexed than a normal abc.com wordpress blog...

wordpress is better in SEO. Blogger also good, because blogger let you put Google adsense in your blog (blogger and google in one corps now).

So, just choose which one you need

Sounds like blogger is best way to sell ads... I love wordpress however! SO many great themes

I have tried both, and now I think I'm going to just stick to blogger simply because I think easier to use than wordpress.

easier in what sense? Have you tried just a simple wordpress.com blog?

Dont agree here.. Google pick up hosted wordpress blogs really fast. Put in a decent size ping list and you are ready to go.

I'm a huge fan of wordpress, but yeah if you just want it easy and simple I think blogger is your choice
