Default Blogging FYI

Blogging is the wave of the future. Blogs are available on pages like MySpace, Facebook, Yahoo and many others; but what good are they on personal websites? There have been a few times in the past that I posted blog entries on these sites for myself, but then I realized I was not interested in what other people thought. Having a blog was more like a journal for me; a space to vent frustrations. This venting was made public so that the people I was venting about could see my feelings without me having to say them directly. My thinking is that most people use blogs this way. Anyone use blogs for other reasons?

I guess I'm just not quite up to speed with blogs. I've never seen the need to use it as a money-making device. It is definitely something to look into. Blogger.com is a good one?

Hey guys, never really used any advertising on a blog. If I have a blog created, will this get me hits to my page? Are these the best ways to get more traffic to my blog? I'll definitely be looking into it. Any other advice on getting a blog together?

Thumbs up more ways

Hey, blogs are having the advantage that they are easily indexed by search engines. (But you have to post something regularly, atleast 2 posts in a week. )
so, also you can make it as a gateway to your website. See this web site to promote blog.
Make your blog more popular - Blogitive

Also, I am now writing a blog on promotion and marketing. Please feel free to check that also.

Completing 2 posts a week is probably a great idea for a blog to get picked up by search engines, but posting dynamic blogs is probably another great idea. I think that the titles of your blogs being different zany and probably always something a little off topic will get your site picked up more frequently. Any thoughts? For example, a blog about repairing a computer may get more hits if you title it as Discount PC Repair Service in Your Area! If you are instructing people on how to repair a computer, then your title is not wrong. It is discounted because your info is free, doing it themselves makes for free labor and in your home is in your area. You are not doing false advertising and getting more hits.

When you are not giving direct keywords, you may get more hits, but I don't think that will make any profit. Because, most of the people are just losing their time , just because they are not getting the right thing. So, if one happens to view our blog thru this way, he will get irritated only (most probably).

There are lot of people on the internet who just don't have any specific aim. They are just wandering through the net. You can attract them, if your site contains attractive features.
