I need help: How do I promote my arcade site?

I have made many backlinks to promote it embedded the games with a backlink after the game so I can get more backlinks, I add games myself instead of using all muchimedia games. I even have banners to promote my site on some arcade forums, but still I don't get many visitors at all. So any advise?

Try going for paid advertising. I also think the niche is a little too competitive now since there are so many games on social networking websites.

start promoting your site from the google adwords also start working on seo but it will take 2-3 months to come up on the first page of so meantime you can get the business from paid advertisement.

Yea, I always seem to pick competitive niches...I mean I even just made an android site.

How many visitors do you expect per day basis? what is the current traffic statistics of your site? Have you hired professionals for backlnks? They are more dedicated seo professionals.
