As the majority, I like the design in overall too.But somehow:
-I do miss the glossy web2.0 style buttons and headers.
-The game category bubbles could have a rollover image too.For instance when the cursor would be outside of the button it would have 50%-75% opacity and when it would be on it then it would have 100%.You know the rollover image just gives a little interactivity to the design---what people like.
The loading time wouldn't be boosted eighter with this since +5 .gif images mean almost nothing.
